Qualcomm asked Giant Ant to help create an intuitive yet flexible and powerful interface for its next-generation mobile tracking system. As a leader in mobile solutions, Qualcomm creates emerging technology for managing large and mid-sized commercial trucking fleets.
We led a distributed multi-vendor team through a rapid redesign of this industry-leading asset tracking interface. Expert interviews and guerilla data-mining helped us understand a complicated and sensitive domain and empowered the team to restructure the interface in order to highlight core customer priorities. In addition, tactical use of AJAX created an efficient, fluid experience which unites 10-15 varied screens into a single dynamic view.
